Thomas Wendt studied classical guitar from the age of 12 and began working as a sound engineer in 1982. During the 1980s he undertook further studies in Electrical Engineering at the Fachhochschule Bochum and in Computer Programming at the Control Data Institut in Dortmund, before entering the field of journalism in 1990.
In a varied career to date, Thomas has worked as a live FOH, monitor and studio engineer, both freelance and with the rental company Audax Audio (www.audax-audio.de), handling acts such as Slayer, Marc Almond and Heroes del Silencio. In addition, he spent time as a CAD software programmer at Technobox Software GmbH Bochum, and worked as Deputy Editor/Managing Director at Press Agency Reiman, Dusseldorf, whose clients included ADI Software Karlsruhe, Asymetrix Software and Atari Computers amongst many others.
In 1993 Thomas started working as Public Relations Manager/Project Manager for Steinberg. In 1998 he founded the PR agency Integrative Concepts, which has since handled PR work for Steinberg, Besonic.com, MindPrint, Hughes & Kettner, Mackie, Propellerhead Software, Celemony Software, Next Level GmbH, Rolling Stone Magazine and others. Thomas also worked on the development of the Warp VST guitar amp plug-in for Steinberg/Hughes&Kettner.
Since 2002 Thomas has once again started to write, perform, and produce his own music. Projects have included an original soundtrack for the poetry project "Wilder Wein" by Dagmar Noelle, and the production of CDs for Hamburg alternative bands "Eaten by Sheiks", "SheBaeng" and "Chanson Bardun".
